A Room of One's Own

​"A few years ago we purchased one of Finn’s cabins for our farm near Missoula, MT. We were expanding our staff, and as we provide housing for our workers, we needed another living space. Finn custom designed and built a structure to meet our specific needs; he put a handsome arch-roofed cabin, w/skylight and built-in shelving, on wheels. Depending on our land use plans for the season, we can move the cabin appropriately around the property. We, and our staff, work long hours, typically at speed and often in challenging weather. We value rewarding that
relentless effort. Allowing someone to live in Finn’s cabin for a season is part of how we demonstrate our appreciation. The building has a rich warmth, a remarkable charm and the utility of a well-engineered tool. Living in Finn’s cabin for the summer is, for one fortunate person each year, an integral part of the experience of our farm."
